"QARAQOOM" is a musical project that combines the ethnic sound of the peoples of Central Asia and modern electronic music, in genres from organic house, to progressive house and techno. In our tracks we show the musical palette of our people, as we believe that this heritage has a lot of beautiful colors.We have been studying styles, directions and separate tracks for a long time, before we began to make the first steps. Only after gathering the necessary, in our opinion, volume of the listened musical material, we started writing. Our band was founded in 2020. During lockdown, in the midst of the pandemic. That's when the first tracks appeared. The name comes from the name of a large desert, which is located in the heart of Central Asia. In this name we tried to combine what we want to be associated with: our land, our centuries-old history, our climate. Life and temperament of people living here and of course the music of our people. There are three people in the team, who complement and support each other harmoniously both in their daily lives and in their music. We all spend most of our time in our studio, where our creativity is born. We only write music that we see something interesting in, not limiting ourselves by genre boundaries. Combining something new, looking for fresh solutions - that's what we think is important when writing music. We have big plans. We have already written a few tracks which are just waiting to be released. Stay tuned and you will definitely hear us!

VIOVE (vy-ohv) is the stage name of Joonas Sengers, a Dutch melodic techno producer and DJ known for his futuristic and atmospheric soundscapes that evoke a sense of wonder and nostalgia. Born and raised in The Netherlands, Joonas began his music career in his late teens, experimenting with different genres and styles before finding his calling in techno. Inspired by the likes of Tale Of Us, Stephan Bodzin, and Adriatique, Joonas developed his own unique style of melodic techno, blending driving rhythms with lush, ethereal melodies to create a sound that is both danceable and emotive. In 2023, Joonas adopted the stage name VIOVE, a name that reflects his love for both the futuristic and the nostalgic.
